Canon MP140 is an excellent designed and aesthetically upgraded version of the Canon Pixma printer series. In spite of all the good features installed in Canon Pixma MP140 it still fits enviably well into any office or home work desk. Canon Pixma MP140 is light in size, which is an excellent feature as it makes it easy to transfer your MP140 from one place to another without involving too much of a hassle.
Canon Pixma MP140 has an excellent copier that can copy upto 19 ppm (pages per minute) and it has a very good copying speed of 15 ppm (pages per minute) for copying colored pages. The usual standard set scanner resolution is 600 X 1200 dpi (dots per inch). You can however stretch that to a maximum scanning resolution of 1920 X 1920 dpi.
Many earlier versions of Pixma MP Series printer were not able to print papers larger than A4 size, but with Pixma MP140 you can print different bigger and smaller sized papers like letter, legal, credit card, and envelopes.
Canon Pixma MP140 has the ability to print high quality text prints. Pixma MP140 can also print good photographs as the printer also has the ability to print color prints. A fast USB port given with the printer also ensures easy connectivity of the printer with the PC, making it an ideal choice for standalone personal computing environment. Canon Pixma MP140 however does not have any Wi-Fi or wireless connectivity unlike many other modern ink jet printers, which can make it a difficult printer to use in a wireless LAN environment.
